Langula is a language learning app for iOS that enables learning up to 16 languages. The app offers vocabulary training with spaced repetition, pronunciation exercises, and learning certificates.
All in-app purchases in Langula are non-consumable. They are one-time purchases — no subscription. Once purchased, content remains permanently unlocked and can be reactivated via “Restore Purchases”.
All prices include applicable VAT. Billing is processed through your Apple ID account.
In-app purchases are additionally subject to the Standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA).
In accordance with the EU Directive on digital content (2019/770) and §§ 327 ff. BGB (German Civil Code), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase as a consumer.
Note: The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if you have expressly agreed that performance of the contract may begin before the withdrawal period has expired, and you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This occurs as part of the Apple purchase process.
For refunds, please contact Apple Support directly, as purchases are processed through Apple's payment system.
The certificates awarded in Langula serve exclusively as motivation and progress indicators within the app. They do not constitute an official language certificate and are not suitable as proof of language skills to third parties (employers, authorities, educational institutions).
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
For slight negligence, we are only liable in cases of breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical to the contract.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or didactic suitability of the learning content. Use of the app is at your own risk.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service as needed. Changes will be published in the app or on this website. Continued use of the app after publication of amended Terms of Service constitutes acceptance.
